Bilbo Cemetery, Lake Charles, La.

I went to grandparent's day with my little Addison.  I decided to explore the area a little and found this tiny little cemetery right off the freeway, but hidden.  At most, maybe 15 markers. I was amazed at the size of this statue of Jesus. When I stood beside it, my head was about midway up the base.  It is awesome!  When I walked up, and I know this sounds weird, but, this peaceful feeling just washed over me.  The statue  of Jesus looks right at you as if he is really watching over you.  Anyway, enjoy!!

Emerging Locust

The Grimm Reaper and the 1977 Alchemy Deck Kings

I had this wallpaper for a while and really liked it, except for the fact that the reaper was holding pokemon cards:

Anyway, Robert and I collect card decks and really like the gothic and grungy decks.  We received our Bicycle Alchemy 1977 deck and the kings are all grimm reapers.  I thought that it would be so cool to replace the pokemon cards with the reaper kings. Here is the result.  I am still learning to use Corel and Adobe Illustrator, (slow learner, lol) so it's not as good as it should be, but it still looks really cool.
